Triceps (Page 1 of 3)

The tricep is probably the most neglected muscle for men and women alike. This muscle does not come into play that often in doing the work required for normal, everyday living. It is a fact that out-of shape triceps greatly detract form the overall balance of the body. You can be in perfect physical condition, but if your triceps are soft and flabby, you will add the look of aging to your body. Poor tricep development is the result of inactivity, not necessary age. You can have great tricep muscles by following this simple tricep routine.

The Tricep Muscle
The tricep muscle consists of three heads. One of the three heads of this muscle attaches to the shoulder blade, this is called the long head. The other two heads have their origin at the inside of the humerus and are connected near the elbow joint, they are called the lateral and medial head. The triceps often take a longer period of time to develop than other muscles. You should see results within a few months, but your triceps will start feeling toned in just a few workouts.
