Exercise Instructions
Standing Hip Hyperextension – Entire Buttock and Hip Area
- Start by standing with feet in natural comfortable position and lean forward, bending over until your finger touch the floor approximately 2 feet in front of your feet.
- Extend your left leg straight back while raising it as high as possible forming a tripod with your right leg and two arms.
- Slowly return to starting position and repeat the movement.
- Perform the movement for the right leg.
- Do not become discouraged if your lose your balance or cannot lift your legs very high, or feel awkward in the beginning.
- In time your muscles will become adapted to this exercise.
